Family Solutions

Preserve. Protect. Prosper.

These three simple words have come to encapsulate the RK philosophy, recognition that our lives are in a constant state of transition, some periods more dramatic than others. Preparing for and managing this change is the key to financial security.

Here’s what we mean.

Wealth Management Philosophy

RK offers wealth management, including investment management, estate planning, tax mitigation, asset protection, and charitable giving. As a fiduciary, we act on your behalf. But we’re also smart enough to know that no two situations are alike and nobody knows everything. That’s why we build a team of experts, yours and ours. Our estate planning advice is given in collaboration with your estate planning attorney or one of the attorneys on our team of experts. Our tax planning considers your long-term needs in conjunction with your accounting firm or a firm with which we have a close relationship. We coordinate an insurance plan in conjunction with insurance agents, so that you get only what you need, for less. As a completely independent firm, all our efforts are focused on your goals.

Services & Fees

How do we get paid?

Rather & Kittrell is committed to providing you with information, advice, and answers to your financial questions. We strive to provide unique planning solutions for individual investors, families, and institutions. There is no charge for an initial consultation with one of our financial advisors. After this initial consultation, we will engage you in the following way.

Wealth Management Services

Detailed planning and account management is best handled through a fee-based model. Advisors work with you to provide a comprehensive solution for your financial needs. This method of compensation means the advisor receives a fee for providing professional advice on managing money not for simply making trades or selling products. We will provide portfolio management services to client accounts with a minimum of $250,000 of assets under management.

Under certain circumstances, and if it is consistent with our fiduciary duty to the client, we may also provide portfolio management services to client accounts with less than $250,000 of assets under management.

Clients will be invoiced at the end of each calendar quarter based upon the market value of the client’s accounts.

The fee for portfolio management will be charged as a percentage of assets under management, according to the schedule:

Fee Schedule

Asset Level Annual Fee %
First $500,000 1.25%
For amounts greater than $500,001 to $1,000,000 1.00%
For amounts greater than $1,000,001 to $5,000,000 0.75%
For amounts greater than $5,000,001 to $10,000,000 0.50%
For amounts greater than $10,000,001 to $25,000,000 0.25%
