Monica is an Associate Advisor at Rather & Kittrell. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and enjoys helping clients reach their goals by developing and implementing cohesive financial strategies.

Monica graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee, where she majored in Biochemistry. After working as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant for three years, she transitioned to the finance industry and found a passion for helping individuals and families understand their complex financial plans and make informed decisions about their money. Prior to joining the RK team in 2023, she spent seven years working as a Financial Planner at SageView Advisory Group.

Monica and her husband, Charlie, have lived in Knoxville since 2005, and have two young children that they adore, Murphy and Ferris.  Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending as much time as possible outside with her kids and her dog, going to baseball games, and watching scary movies.
