Introduction to Tim Eichhorn
I am a financial advisor very simply because someone showed me a long time ago what it meant to plan. I was 17 when my mom died. Five weeks later my dad died. About four months later, my aunt told us that the house was ours.
That was me and two younger brothers. And we said, well, sure, the house is ours. Absolutely. We live in it. We grew up in it. No, no, you don’t understand. The bank doesn’t own the house. Your dad had paid it off. So that was a pretty cool, uh, explanation of what planning was.
Fast forward an economics degree, time in the Marine Corps. A couple of stops along the career path and a wealth of life experience. And here I am working with families to plan for what they can’t see coming and plan for the events that come down the road in life. And it’s a lot of fun. It’s about relationships, and I’d rather do that than pretty much anything else.
