End of Year Insurance Audit

Chase Kerby
12.21.2022

The end of the year can serve as a wonderful time to review your personal insurance policies like auto, home, and umbrella.

For the last few years building costs have seen significant appreciation and it is important to assess your Coverage A or the amount your home is insured for. Also, asking your agent about this can offer helpful insight into what goes into that rebuild calculation to make sure you are covered for full replacement cost.

Planning Tip: Remember your home should be insured based on the construction and materials cost to rebuild not the value of your property including the land. We are here to help if you have questions.
