Is it a good time to start investing?
My name is Hannah Whatley, and I’m an advisor with Rather and Kittrell.
A lot of people are asking if it’s a good time to get started investing, especially right now when we’re at the end of 2021, and the S&P 500 has hit 10 new market highs already this year.
My short answer is yes, that is a good time. Even though it, it doesn’t feel like it. Peter Lynch said it best, he said that far more money has been lost preparing for corrections than in the corrections themselves.
That being said, I know that’s easier said than done. We have to make sure we understand how it fits in your financial situation and even what to invest in.
