We see this in finance when people are checking on their account balances weekly or even daily. It’s great to know what youre invested in and how it’s performing, but its foundational to know why you’re invested the way you are and what changes you could make that would actually impact your wealth.
To keep this bias from impacting your finances, ask yourself, “Why am I invested the way I am?” “What changes can I make that will impact my wealth over time?
